What the fuck is wrong with you people? Do parents these days really just say “Fuck teaching my kids to respect other people, just let TV and the Internet babysit them. As long as they don’t go out and kill themselves or end up doing ill-reputable jobs for a living, we did a good job.”

And my thing is that almost all celebrities immortalized after dying young were, if not drug addicts, heavy drug users. HELLO KURT COBAIN!

But if a black woman is a drug addict then she’s a crack whore. (that’s not sexualized racism at all).

I’m not a Cobain person myself, but I love Pimp C and I love Jimi Hendrix. Both black men who died due to drug abuse. BUT I haven’t seen any vitriol aimed at them because of it.

Which shows that even if you’re simply a man (no matter what your race), you can escape being demonized for drug abuse.

But have a black woman take drugs? It’s just crack whore this, crack whore that.

PLEASE. like, how about EVERY WHITE MALE ROCK STAR EVER has struggled with drug addiction. like name them! like, ENTIRE BANDS. but when rolling stone guns n roses led zeppelin red hot chili peppers  jim morrison david bowie etc etc do it it’s either tragic or cool but other way it’s HUMANIZED. if not outright romanticized or glorified. i.e. OH! those POOR tragic TORTURED artists!!!!!!!!!

but black women aren’t *actually* artists, right? all that shit comes natural to them so. and the didn’t contribute anything to rock music either, SO.
